Frequently asked questions
What does KAPN Consulting do?
KAPN Consulting helps older adults, families, and caregivers navigate the complexities of aging. We provide personalized care navigation, caregiver education, guidance on levels of care, aging-in-place options, Medicare and Medicaid resources, VA benefits, palliative and hospice care, and connections to appropriate community and professional resources.
When should my family contact KAPN Consulting?
You don’t have to wait for a crisis. Families often contact us when they notice changes in a loved one’s health, memory, safety, independence, or ability to remain at home. We can also help when you’re considering home care, assisted living, memory care, downsizing, or other later-life transitions. Planning early gives families more time to understand their choices and make informed decisions.
How is KAPN Consulting different from a home care or senior living company?
KAPN Consulting is a consulting and care-navigation resource. We are not limited to recommending one type of care or one particular provider. We begin by understanding your family’s needs, concerns, preferences, and goals, then help you identify options, ask the right questions, and develop practical next steps.
