This disclosure explains the background check Silver Streak Senior Services arranges for partner businesses, and what that background check does and does not mean.
You are not an employee or independent contractor
PLACEHOLDER: Participating in the Group One background check does not make you an employee, independent contractor, agent, partner, or joint venturer of Silver Streak Senior Services LLC. The background check is a condition of listing in our directory, not an offer of work, and Silver Streak does not direct, supervise, schedule, or control the services you provide to your own customers.
PLACEHOLDER: You remain solely responsible for your own business, employees, licensing, insurance, taxes, and the work you perform.
What the background check covers
PLACEHOLDER: Silver Streak uses Group One as its background screening provider. Depending on the type of business, screening may include a criminal background check, reference checks, and a motor vehicle record check.
One check covers all of your listings
PLACEHOLDER: A cleared background check applies to you as the business owner. If you add another business listing later, you will not be asked to complete a second background check.
Your rights and consent
PLACEHOLDER: You authorize the background check directly with Group One and consent to its terms there. Questions about the contents of a report, disputes, and corrections are handled by Group One. Silver Streak receives only a pass or fail result.
